About Rob

An unusual intersection: psychology, leadership and community.

Rob Pasick has spent his career moving between the consulting room, the classroom, the boardroom and the page.

Rob Pasick, Ph.D. — Ann Arbor, Michigan

Rob trained as a psychologist at Harvard and as an executive coach at the University of Michigan. Blending those two disciplines, he has helped hundreds of private sector and non-profit leaders, educators, government officials and healthcare professionals reach their optimal level of performance.

He teaches at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and has served as a consultant to the University of Michigan football team. He has written ten books, work that led to appearances on Oprah, The Today Show and National Public Radio.

With solemn respect and humility he served as an advisor to companies who lost employees in New York City after 9/11 and provided services to the President of Rwanda following that country’s period of Genocide.

Twenty-five years ago he started Leaders Connect, a leadership community he still hosts today — a long conversation about what it actually takes to lead people well.
